Annual Report 2023

In 2023, VIDC Global Dialogue focused on feminist foreign policy and pressing issues related to the climate crisis. The kick-off at the Austrian parliament addressed the potential of a feminist foreign policy, but also the critical skepticism of many countries in the Global South. kulturen in bewegung has linked art and global issues. With the Artist in Residence program with Uýra, an artist from the Amazon region, with the involvement of artists from local diaspora communities and with the Clišhé Träsh Festival. The fairplay team also worked "Against hate and hate speech". This was the motto not only for the action weeks, but also for the "Diversity in martial arts" conference, which was organized together with the World Jewish Congress. Inclusion, anti-discrimination, diversity and prevention of extremism, the areas in which fairplay works, remain highly topical.
